Behind Capium, I design boilie machines that are simple, compact and affordable. I personally assemble and inspect them in my workshop before each shipment.

Some of the technical parts are manufactured on site using 3D printing. This process allows me to produce with precision in small batches, retain control over the parts and easily provide replacements if necessary.

How long can I keep my freshly rolled baits?

Without adding chemical preservatives, your fresh boilies can be kept for 3 to 4 days in the fridge. To prepare for your sessions, we recommend that you freeze (storage up to 6 months) or dehydrate them on a drying sieve for 48h to 72h in the open air. When well dried, they will keep for several weeks in ventilated bags (dry bags).

How do you prepare the dough before inserting it into the rolling machine?

To get perfectly spherical pellets, you should not insert the dough as a ball. You must first shape it into regular sausages. We recommend using an extruder gun (or boilie gun) fitted with a nozzle cut to the correct diameter. This is an essential step to properly feed your rollers.

1. Mix preparation: Mix your boilie flours, eggs and attractors until you have a soft, non-sticky and elastic dough.
2. Extrusion: Place your dough into an extruder gun and form regular sausages, sized to the diameter of your roller (15, 20 or 24 mm).
3. Mechanical rolling: Place the sausages on the boilie machine. With a few turns of the crank (or simply by turning on the electric motor), get dozens of perfectly round balls.
4. Cooking and drying: Dip your boilies in boiling water (or steam) for 1 to 3 minutes, then let them rest on a drying sieve in the open air for 48 hours.
