Frequently asked questions

What is a boilie grinder for?

The grinder allows you to quickly transform your boilies into pieces or crumbs to prepare your baits, PVA, stick mix or spod mix.

How to use the boilie grinder?

Simply place your boilies inside, close the grinder and then rotate the two parts in opposite directions.. In just a few rotations, your boilies are ground.

Can you choose the fineness of the grinding?

Yes. You can adjust the texture depending on the number of rotations to achieve a coarser or finer grind according to your bait.

Is it easy to use by the water?

Yes. Its manual operation allows you to prepare your boilies directly at your fishing spot, without additional equipment.

Why grind your boilies before baiting?

Grinding the boilies allows you to obtain pieces of different sizes and many small particles from the same bait. This way, you can vary the presentation of your baiting and use your boilies in another form, particularly in your PVA, sticks and bait mixes.

Can the grinder be used with different sizes of boilies?

Yes. The grinder can be used with different diameters of boilies, provided they can be placed correctly inside. For particularly large or hard boilies, it may be preferable to put in fewer at a time to maintain a comfortable rotation.

What is the difference between crushing boilies by hand and using a grinder?

By hand, breaking several boilies can quickly become long and impractical, especially when they are hard. The grinder allows you to work with several baits at a time thanks to its teeth and rotational movement. It thus becomes much easier to regularly prepare crushed boilies right by the water’s edge.

Can I prepare my own boilies and then grind them?

Yes. If you make your own baits with a boilie machine, the grinder plays another role: it allows you to crush the finished boilies so that you can integrate them into your bait. This way, you can start from your own recipe and use the same boilies whole, crushed, or reduced to small particles depending on your strategy.
